The Supreme Court has remained the felling of trees on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway project till November 26 and guided the National Green Tribunal to choose the lawfulness of the new activity. 

An NGO, Citizens for Green, has asserted that more than 11,000 trees were proposed to be cut for the undertaking.
